New Project: Soonchild!

Hi all!

We have been super busy recently with a new project and we can now share it with you all! We have been commissioned by Red Earth Theatre to compose the score and work with them on their upcoming production of Soonchild which will tour nationally in 2019!! We have also been awarded funding by the Arts Council to research into how to make the music we compose accessible to the deaf community, which is very exciting, so we have lots of work ahead of us! Can't wait to share all our work and findings with you all! We will still be Threadeding in our usual capacity alongside this though, so will hopefully catch lots of you at a gig soon :) xxx

Shire Folk Review

We have had a great review from Shire Folk!! Big thanks to them and Graham Hobbs for the lovely words!!

'This is the second album from Threaded who are Jamie Rutherford (vocal, guitar), Ning-ning Li (violin, backing vocals) and Rosie Bott (clarinet, backing vocals). They were introduced to the folk scene through Joe Broughton's Conservatoire Folk Ensemble and Joe has produced this album of original songs and tunes. As one might expect of this pedigree, there is a classical feel to many of the tracks, but it's the clarinet of *Rosie Bott*, that sets this above many folk albums and gives them an excellent and very distinctive sound. I saw them live at the Derby Folk Festival last year and they are a talented trio well worth checking out.'  Graham Hobbs
